88 cent green pepper

I used an 88 cent green pepper in three ways!
When I saw the sale I couldn't let it go.  I was looking forward to top it on my new favorite pizza option!



First green pepper meal option:
Homemade pizza- garlic chicken, mushrooms, green pepper, and lots of cheese!

Second option:
Jon put it in his chicken tacos for extra flavor!

Third option:
Hamburger and Corn Casserole

I absolutely LOVE love LOVE not having to throw food out! :)

Blog Party! :)

Through Facebook I have found some more lovely blogs that I love to browse! :)  The ones with stories about their kiddos are fun and inspiring.  I also enjoy reading recipes and I'm thankful for those people out there showing me what to do in the kitchen!  I'm newly married (June 12, 2010) and figuring this all out.  I never enjoyed being in the kitchen that much growing up.  I was in charge of washing dishes, and looking at all those dishes being used........so I never spent a lot of time learning how to do things.  Now I regret it daily. But back to the Blog Party!  I'm a little late but now I'm healthy enough to answer the questions!! To start off, here's a little bit about myself.  I turn 23 on May 5th.  I share a birthday with my big sister and she will be thankful if I don't say how old she is turning (shh! we're seven years apart).  I posted not that long ago a list of 100 random things about me, so go read that if you're desperately wondering.

Bathroom Remodeling & stufffff

Back in June 2013 when we bought the house we knew we were going to fix up the bathroom.  It didn't come with a shower, just a tub.  However we had to take down some tile to make that happen.  There wasn't the proper drywall surrounding the tub to prevent water damage.  Plus there was a window RIGHT in the middle of the exterior wall so we couldn't just easily put a shower in.  As time went on and washing paint brushes in that bathroom (who cares if we get paint in there?) Jon started to notice a leak.  So we stopped using that sink and figured there was more remodeling to do.  At that point we said....all or nothing. Issues in the bathroom/stuff that wasn't a big deal but wanted to change to make it our own: 1. No shower 2. Leaking sink faucet onto pipes. 3. Copper pipes (updated plumbing needed!) 4. Electrical updates desperately needed 5. Poor lighting (two can lights halfway down the wall only over sink is not well thought out) 6. Exterior Window 7. Vanity
